For the Salon's 30th Anniversary, Rome was greeted with unanimous acclamation. No other city could have represented as strongly the spirit of this historic milestone.

Salon 2026 will take place in the Cloister of the Basilica of San Pietro in Vincoli, home of the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering at La Sapienza University. This church, founded in the fifth century, is famous for housing Michelangelo's Moses, an absolute masterpiece of the Renaissance that attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world every year.

The Basilica holds one of the most famous masterpieces in art history, part of the funeral monument of Pope Julius II.

Renaissance Cloister

Attributed to Giuliano da Sangallo, it is considered among the most beautiful in Rome. A magnificent example of early Renaissance architecture.
